Yost Hall, located on the Case Quad between Wickenden and Tomlinson, was built as a dormitory in 1950. Now it houses a number of departments and administrative offices, like Math, Statistics, University Registrar, Office of Student Employment, Housing and Residence Life, and Greek Life.

One can see a number of mysterious doors in the walls which have long since been sealed off with bricks and painted over. These doors are a result of the conversion of the building from a dormitory. The reader would be wise to note that this would be an excellent location for a residence hall, as the building is at an advantageous location on the Case Quad. Why it was changed remains is a great mystery to many.

Yost is also the home of the Mathematics SI Program, located in room 321A.
