W8EDU
W8EDU is the callsign of the Case Amateur Radio Station. Located on the roof of Glennan, it was first licensed in 1948.
The amateur radio station is best-equipped for High Frequency (HF) communication. HF radios include a Ten-Tec Omni VI and an Icom IC-706MKII. There is a variety of other equipment including an Icom IC-28A 2-meter transceiver and a legal-limit Henry Radio HF amplifier.
The Case Amateur Radio Station antennas are visible from the Quad and include a 10-15-20 tribander yagi, a 2-element 40-meter yagi, and an 80-meter Inverted Vee antenna. There are also antennas for VHF and UHF operation atop the station.
