Hi Brian,

I'm wondering if we can leave the Wiki URL for the School of Graduate Studies as SGS, as we have done for the School of Medicine (wiki.case.edu/SOM). I believe this issue came up before and we agreed that the acronyms were OK. Otherwise, we are going to start getting some unwieldy names. I think this only encourages more use of the wiki.

The old link has not disappeared. It automatically redirects. According to the rules as organized within the wiki, the SOM page should be forwarded to the spelled out name as well. You can use acronyms but they are to be set up to redirect to the spelled out name.

See: http://wiki.case.edu/CaseWiki:Article_naming

Do you know who said you could use acronyms? as established, the wiki is meant to be written in a matter than any Case person or non-Case person can find things. Acronyms deplete the effectiveness of indexes, search strings, etc.
