Professor Piderit ("Sandy" is a nickname) teaches in the [undergraduate ] and Ph.D. programs at the Weatherhead School of Management. She is an associate professor in the Department of Organizational Behavior.

She maintains a Case blog, [Professor Notes II], and has been an agent of social change on the Case campus since approximately 1990. Most recently, she began working to encourage undergraduates to make use of the CaseBlog and CaseWiki services in a cooperative way, either as volunteers or as part of completing optional class assignments. She has benefitted from the assistance of Jeremy Smith, Jennifer Johnson, Meredith Myers, Latha Poonamallee, and others.

In the spring of 2007, she will teach a MGMT 395 research seminar for the first time, on the topic of flexible work practices.
