Tommy Cusick (of Pickerington, Ohio) is a Computer Science major at Cornell University. Prior to August 2008, he was an undergraduate student at Case Western Reserve University; this article details his accomplishments during those two years.

Tommy is most noted as the inventor and exclusive developer of the Case Scheduler web service, which provides a way for students to better plan their academic lives with features such as intelligent course search, the ability to add custom events, and easy exporting and sharing mechanisms. The service is currently used by over 60% of the undergraduate student body, making it the most-used unofficial web service on campus. Case Scheduler and its contained methods are currently patent pending.

Other mainstream web services entirely authored by Tommy comprise the Case Software Center, which manages the University’s many software licenses and downloads for thousands of users on a daily basis, and the USG Finance Portal, which streamlines the entire funding process for all student groups on campus while also helping the environment by eliminating needless paper usage.

Tommy is a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, the Student Internet Services group (where he maintains the Filer personal web server system), and the IT Committee of the Undergraduate Student Government. He is a Resident Assistant for Cedar Residential College, a first-year community that uses the arts to foster friendships among its residents. Tommy sits as both president and RA liaison on the Cedar Residential Arts Board, which oversees all of the College’s theatrical endeavors, and he directed and produced the Cedar Players production of Woody Allen’s God during Parent’s Weekend 2007.

In February 2008 Tommy was honored by the Department of Undergraduate Admission by being part of their “Case Spotlight” interview blog. This interview was later incorporated into the Case School of Engineering's Casebook website.

Tommy plans to immediately enroll in graduate school upon completion of his undergraduate degree, but he also aspires to someday join forces with revolutionary technical companies in Silicon Valley to help bring great software to multitudes of consumers around the world.

Tommy's current résumé is available through his personal website.
