start.case.edu is a starting point for finding information on the Case network. It is a service of Student Internet Services.
[edit] Using
The power of start.case.edu is that it can be easily customized to fit your needs. To customize start.case.edu, click the Customize link in the top left.The Edit Bar will slide into view on the left side of the screen.
Your currently displayed page elements ("widgets") will be reduced in size so you can locate and rearrange them more easily. To move widgets around, move your mouse cursor over the title of a widget in the main pane. Simply drag-and-drop to move widgets to another location!
Some widgets may be customizable. One is the Custom Feed widget. With this widget, you can display any syndicated feed. To select your feed for the widget, click the Edit button in this widget. In the URL box, enter the URL of the desired syndicated feed.
After you are done customizing, click the Done link where the Customize link was. The Edit Bar will disappear and you will see your own layout.
If you use IMAP or a Web-based client to read your Case email, when you log in to start.case.edu the Case Email widget will show you the number of unread messages in your inbox, and it will list the subjects of your most recently received email.

Below the customizable widget area is a list of assorted Case IT services. This is intended to provide easy access to the more commonly used services, and to increase awareness of the less frequently used ones.
