Sigma Psi

Sigma Psi at Case Western Reserve University is an independent local sorority of balanced women who genuinely support and respect each other, maintaining class, dignity, and fraternal values. We desire women who are both unique and academically, socially and philanthropically oriented. -Sigma Psi Image Statement

We were founded on March 7, 1897 on the Western Reserve University campus. With over 110 years of sisterhood, Sigma Psi is the oldest CWRU sorority and one of the oldest local sororities in the country.


Sigma Psi Facts

Local founding: March 7th, 1897

Colors: Green and Gold

Flowers: The daffodil and the yellow rose.

Mascot: The butterfly, symbolizing growth and personal development.

Philanthropy: The ECNC, or East Cleveland Neighborhood Center. We wanted to support a local organization to reflect our local chapter status. The ECNC supports programs for all ages, from drug-prevention to recreation to parenting and much more.
