A vote of no-confidence can be initiated in an academc college if 10% of that colleges faculty petition for it in writing. The results of the vote are non-binding. The Board of Trustees has the final decision over what actions to take, if any.

A vote of no-confidence against President Hundert (131 for / 44 against) and Provost Anderson (97 for / 68 against) was approved by the College of Arts and Sciences on March 2, 2006.
