James C. Diggs
Diggs is senior vice president and general counsel of PPG Industries, a former vice president and general counsel of TRW Inc. and former assistant attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in Cleveland. He is a director of Allegheny Technologies; a member of the executive committee of the Association of General Counsel; and a member of the bars of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
He is active in various civic activities and is a member of the governing bodies of Shady Side Academy, the Urban League of Pittsburgh, the Carnegie Institute and the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, the Duquesne Club and the YMCA of Pittsburgh. He has served on the Visiting Committee of Case Western Reserve University Law School. A native of Cleveland, Diggs earned his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from Case. He and his wife Deborah have a 14-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter.
