I received the B.S. degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University under the supervision of Patrick Crago. I am currently a research fellow at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation working with Cameron McIntyre. My research interests include Deep Brain Stimulation, Neuroprostheses, Implantable Systems, Functional Electrical Stimulation, Neuropsychiatric Disorders, Parkinson's Disease, Biomechanical and Neuromuscular modeling, Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time Control.
