IMPROVment

IMPROVment was started in the fall of 2003 by a group of students fed up with the distinct lack of hilarity on the Case Western Reserve University campus. Dominated by the largely engineering student body, starting an improv comedy troupe was never guaranteed for success. These vagabonds (as they were sometimes called) performed two shows during that inaugural semester. IMPROVment has continued to be well received and now performs 14 shows a semester. To quote several audience members exiting from a recent show, “Without IMPROV I’d have no reason to get out of bed in the morning.”

IMPROVment was recently invited to perform in Chicago at the Implosion Improv Comedy Festival on April 29th. This invitation is linked to their current efforts to take IMPROVment beyond the Case campus.
