[edit] Creating a Redirect
A redirect is a way of transparently pointing one page to another page. Redirects are useful when you have more than one name for a topic and want to make a request for a particular page automatically get directed to another. Think of it as looking up a term in your car's operating manual without having to look-up a second term where it says "see ..."
Redirects are created by inserting the the '#' character followed by REDIRECT followed by a link on the first line of a page.
What you type:
#REDIRECT [[Topic Name]]
What you see: Nothing -- the user is automatically taken to the page to which you directed them. Under that page's title, they will see the text "Redirected from
Example: Case gets redirected to Case Western Reserve University
