[edit] How to Delete a Page

Deleting pages is a practice that should not be widely used. The reason is that once a page is created its URL should exist for all time. Even if the content is out of date, it could be updated to redirect to another wiki page or to an external site. Sometimes, however, deleting a page is necessary. Since this practice is discouraged, only certain users have the ability to delete pages.
