[edit] Using the Search Feature

On the left side of every page is a search box. Below it are two buttons, "Go" and "Search." The "Go" button will take you directly to a page if the exact title you typed is available. The "Search" button will perform a text search of all articles for the search term, returning a list of relevant articles. In either case, if a search result is not found, you may create a new page with that exact title by following the link that says "create a page with this title."

[edit] Using the Page URL

All pages on this wiki can be accessed by typing their name in the URL. To create a new page with title "topic" one would go to the URL http://wiki.case.edu/Topic.

[edit] From Existing Pages

This is the recommended method. When editing an existing page, create a link to the non-existent page. The wiki will index this topic and recognize that it has not yet been created. This topic will then be listed on Special:Wantedpages which lists pages that have been linked to but not yet created. In addition, links to topics that do not yet exist will be displayed in red text. This way, enterprising individuals may do work for you and write the topic themselves.
