[edit] How to Subscribe to Podcasts on Websites with Feeds
- Go to the podcast site you would like to subscribe to. On each podcast site, usually, but not always, you will find a feed
link to the podcast. The feed link will most likely be identified by an orange icon such as the one shown below with the words
“Subscribe to Feed” or “Feed” beside it.
- Right click on the feed link and click on “Copy Shortcut” or “Copy Link Location”
- There are two different ways to subscribe to the podcast now. You can use iTunes or Zune. We will start with iTunes first.
For the Zune, go to Step 6. Open iTunes and click on the “Advanced” tab at the top. Click on “Subscribe to Podcast.”
- A window will popup like the one shown below. Now right click in the box and click on “Paste.” You will see a link show up in
the box. Next, click on “Ok.”
- Your podcast will start downloading and will show up in the “Podcast” section. Please follow steps 8 through 13 in the iPod
guide to finish subscribing your podcast on your iPod Touch. Or follow steps 2 through 6 in the Fuze guide to finish
subscribing your podcast on your Sansa Fuze.
- For the Zune, open the Zune software. Go to the “Podcast” section.
- Click on “Add a Podcast” on the lower left corner.
- A window will popup with the title “Subscribe.” Right click inside the text box and click on “Paste.” You will see a link
show up in the box. Next, click on “Subscribe.”
- Your podcast will start downloading. Please follow steps 6 through 9 in the Zune guide to finish subscribing your podcast on
your Zune.
