Freedman Center/Pimsleur® language learning system

The Pimsleur® method is based on audio recordings, in which you first listen and then construct phrases or repeat them from memory, speaking along with a recording. The system consists of a series of thirty-minute lessons.

The Freedman Center Pimsleur® language learning choices include Polish, Hindi, French, German, Italian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, Chinese (Cantonese), Egyptian Arabic, and Hebrew.

1. Check out:

a SecuriKey™
digital headphones
your Pimsleur® language selection book chip
a card reader for your book chip

2. Plug your SecuriKey™ into the port at top of the keyboard to unlock the computer.
No password is required; simply press Enter.

3. Place your language book chip into the card reader, using the indicated orientation.

4. Plug the digital headphones into the bottom USB slot, located on the left side of the monitor.
Next, insert the language card reader the top USB slot.

Note: It is essential to insert your headphones into the USB port before inserting the language card reader, or running any software.

5. Open My Computer > Pimsleur® language drive > and initiate the program with the red arrow labeled AudiofyPC.exe

6. Select the desired lesson and learn your language.
