Freedman Center/International Keyboards
The Freedman Center offers international keyboards for the Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Hindi, Korean, Japanese, and Russian languages. These can be checked out for use in the Freedman Center and KSL.
To use the international keyboards:
- Bring your Case ID to the Freedman Center and ask to check out an international keyboard. You will be given your international keyboard and a security key for a language workstation.
- Plug the security key into the USB port on the English keyboard already set up at the workstation.
- Move the English language keyboard to the side without disconnecting it.
- Plug the international keyboard into the USB 1 port on the side of the monitor. The computer will recognize the new keyboard.
- Follow the instructions for Using the Language Bar to change the language to match your keyboard and begin typing in your program of choice!
