Engineers Without Borders

EWB, short for Engineers Without Borders, is an international orginization focused on providing technical assistance to communities around the world in need. The Case chapter is a USG recognized student group, but its primary source of funding for projects is the Case Alumni Association. EWB utilizes students of all majors to complete projects, including engineers, public health majors and other students with a medical background, foreign language majors, and others.

EWB-Case's current project is to provide the community of Cruce de Blanco in the rural Dominican Republic with a water system. The project was initiated in August 2006, with the most recent trip being in January 2008.
