Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics may be found on the second and third floors of Yost Hall. The Department Chair is James Alexander. It houses 25 full-time faculty, 3 adjunct and secondary faculty, and 11 graduate students. The department offers the follwing degree programs for undergraduates:

- Mathematics (pure)
- Applied Mathematics
- Mathematics and Physics
- B.S./M.S.
- Applied Mathematics (and some area of application)
