[edit] Mock-Up Site for The Sixties in America
Some concerns about using this Wiki for my course/brainstorming
- Can this Wiki--or another one--be set up so that only I and students enrolled in the course can change content?
- Is content limited to one long, scrolling screen, or can we create a Wiki-based site that allows each student to contribute to a separate 'page' or screen, with everything linked to an overarching/portal screen? (Might that be done with the internal link function--essentially, each student builds their own Wiki, and we connect them all to the overarching one? Or is that not at all what that function does?)
- Would this all be accomplished more easily through a different sort of web-based technology (e.g., a Dreamweaver webpage)?
