The Department of Geological Sciences is part of the College of Arts and Sciences and is located in A.W. Smith Building.
The Department offers both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Geological Sciences as well as a B.A. in Environmental Geology and is the host of the B.A. in Environmental Studies that is available as a second major to undergraduate students. Graduate studies for both Master's and Doctoral degrees are also available.
