Chris Butler

Chris Butler is a professor in the Department of Mathematics. Chris has a long history with our university, dating back to 1979, when he enrolled as an undergraduate. He typically teaches Math 122 and Math 121, and is known for being an exceptional educator with a good sense of humor. He has won a number of consecutive Focke Fellowships. He is extremely well-known because his classes tend to large enrollment and a significant portion of first-year undergraduates take them. He also runs the Mathematics SI Program and is the faculty advisor to SIGMAC, the Case Macintosh Users Group.
