Case IM/generic

Here are a set of generic instructions for connecting to the Case IM server, that should work for most XMPP-compliant clients.

  1. Server name: im.case.edu
  2. Port (TLS): 5222
  3. Old-Style SSL port (if the client doesn't support TLS): 5223
  4. Username: <Your Case Network ID>
  5. Password: <Your Case Password>

Your Jabber ID (JID) is NetworkID@im.case.edu.
