[edit] FAQ

Following the introduction of Case Daily, we’ve received some great feedback. We hope you will see some of your suggestions take shape as this daily e-mail newsletter continues to evolve. Thank you for your assistance and patience as we continue to inform and streamline communications on campus.

[edit] What is Case Daily

Case Daily is a newsletter e-mailed each weekday to all faculty, staff, and students who are currently at the university or have been associated with Case over the last six to eight months. We hope to leverage this vehicle as the only e-mail communication you will receive from the university except for those messages that require specific attention.

[edit] How often will I receive Case Daily

Case Daily will be e-mailed each weekday during the academic year.

[edit] Will I continue to receive other messages from the university?

Case Daily will replace the one to four separate e-mails some people were receiving each day, while still assisting members of the campus community who want to communicate with a larger Case audience. We plan to use this vehicle as the only e-mail communication you will receive from the university except for those messages that require specific attention.

[edit] What if I don’t want to receive Case Daily

It is important for members of the Case community to receive messages from the university. Valuable information—facility closings and human resource notices, among others—will be included in Case Daily. If you do not want to receive Case Daily, there is a way for you to "opt out" utilizing the filtering tools in your email client.

[edit] I am no longer a student or no longer work at Case. Why am I on the distribution list?

Your information is automatically purged from the university’s system about six to eight months after you leave the university. If you choose not to receive Case Daily in the meantime, there is a way for you to "opt out" utilizing the filtering tools in your email account.

If you left the university more than six or eight months ago and are still receiving Case e-mails, you will want to contact our Human Resources department (if you were faculty or staff) or the Registrar's office (if you were a student) to make sure you have been removed from the university's information system. Contact information for those offices can be found on our Web site at http://www.case.edu.</p>

[edit] Why can’t I read the text or see the design in Case Daily

Individual e-mail clients interpret html-enhanced messages in different ways, so the design of Case Daily will vary from person to person, computer to computer. If you have problems viewing the Case Daily e-mail, go to http://blog.case.edu/casedaily/.
