[edit] Loading Records from OCLC Connexion Client to Millennium
First, in OCLC Connexion Client, do the following:
- Go to Tools (at the top of the page) --> OPTIONS
- Click on the "Export" tab
- Click CREATE
- Click "OK" (let the radio button remain where it is at "export destination -- file")
- Where you see the "Look In" option with a drop-down arrow, select the MY DOCUMENTS folder
- For "File Name," type in the exact file name you have been using when you FTP'ed. For example, mine is "ulRich.dat."
- Click OPEN
You should now see Destination box read something like: File:C\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\My Documents\ YOURULNAME.DAT
From there, go into Millennium's Data Exchange (bottom left-hand corner) and follow the remaining steps from the "Millennium Instructions-08" handout, pages 2-3, which is under "Policies and Procedures" on this page.
