[edit] Loading Records from OCLC Connexion Client to Millennium

First, in OCLC Connexion Client, do the following:

  1. Go to Tools (at the top of the page) --> OPTIONS
  2. Click on the "Export" tab
  3. Click CREATE
  4. Click "OK" (let the radio button remain where it is at "export destination -- file")
  5. Where you see the "Look In" option with a drop-down arrow, select the MY DOCUMENTS folder
  6. For "File Name," type in the exact file name you have been using when you FTP'ed. For example, mine is "ulRich.dat."
  7. Click OPEN

You should now see Destination box read something like: File:C\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\My Documents\ YOURULNAME.DAT

From there, go into Millennium's Data Exchange (bottom left-hand corner) and follow the remaining steps from the "Millennium Instructions-08" handout, pages 2-3, which is under "Policies and Procedures" on this page.
