Baker Building
The Baker Building was built in 1957. During its many years on campus it housed the Center for Community Partnerships, SAGES, The Office of Multicultural Affairs, University Relations, the Office of Undergraduate Studies, Programs and Events, the Instructional Television Network, Hatch Auditorium, and numerous classrooms.
In November of 2004, the demolition of the Baker Building began. The University's Master Plan called for removal of the Baker Building. The space was cleared and partially landscaped by May of 2005. During the summer of 2005, construction on the Binary Walkway commenced.
The Baker Building once stood at 41.50541° N, 81.608847° W.
